In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that, till a certain age, out life revolves around our teachers. They are our constant companions, until we grow old enough to come out of their shadow and move ahead on our own.
I come across different types of teachers. Some are friendly, some are strict, and some are the ones we idolize. Students begin to like teachers, according to their own individual preferences. They even classify their teachers into different categories, such as Friendly Teachers, funny Teachers, ideal Teachers and, Strict Teachers. All these classifications for teachers are based on some typical personality traits of the teachers. For ex - some teachers constantly criticize the students, some act like friends, some are fun to be with and so on. Let us explore them in detail. A friendly teacher, as the very term suggests, acts like a friend for his/her students. A teacher-friend, in fact, combines both the guidance of a teacher and the understanding of a friend. We all, at some point of time, aspire for an understanding teacher. Such a teacher acts like our friend, philosopher and guide. A funny teacher is like a God-sent to the students. Such a teacher always wants to see his/her student’s smile and makes learning a pleasurable experience. They are not clumsy, as most people think them to be. Rather, they are witty and bring in humor in the most dedicated form. An ideal teacher is the one we respect from our heart. He-she acts as a guide to the students, while not pushing them too much. Such a perfect motivates them and boosts their morale. He-she tries to encourage the students and refrains from criticizing them. A strict teacher is very tough on students. He-she always insists on adhering to the deadlines. Such a teacher dislikes any mistakes or carelessness on the part of the students. Students have to be extra cautious under such a teacher. He/she is like a disciplinarian, always keeping students on their toes. In conclusion are different types of teacher but although the teachers have many different ways to teach but as a student are responsibility is to learn from them. Even some teachers are good, are funny, and bad but they are the teachers deeply impact our lives and direct the course of our future.

    * The first characteristic necessary in being the ideal teacher is being involved. Teachers will become like second parents to many students in their career, so being involved is crucial. When you think of a teacher, many assume the only thing they can be involved in is standing in front of a classroom and giving homework, this is certainly not the case. For instance, teachers know they may be faced with a student who is having a hard time at home, such as being abused and in many cases have no-one else to turn to. The ideal teacher makes it a point to get involved so that any student feels confident enough that they can talk to their teacher. When I was in school I hit the age that I thought I knew everything and was getting into trouble, I look back now and thank god that I had some outstanding teachers who helped me through.…

If students take it upon themselves to plot their academic course, they may take a roundabout route to completing their goal, which may set them back several semesters. However, by studying with a teacher and also receiving advice on future steps in their academic careers, students can plot a more straightforward course that will help them reach their desired goals more effectively. Teachers can help students look ahead in order to know what they may be expected to do to ensure success in their chosen fields and also keep students updated as to requirements and how to fulfill them. Working alone, students may meander from one dead end to another before they finally achieve what they set out to do.…

But it does rule out such types as the over-excitable, melancholy, frigid, sarcastic, cynical, frustrated, and over-bearing : I would say too, that it excludes dull or purely negative personality.
