Utilizing the information in hand Fawna had set out to find where, how, and who stole the priceless artifact… Her first instinct was to identify the time frame in which the crime was committed. Since no guards were present to guard the artifact while it was stolen, she had to obtain her information from word of mouth. Precisely from passerbys in the plaza as someone would have had to seen the artifact before it had been taken away. Fawna tried (and mostly failed) to get any clues from anyone in the plaza. She did have three suspects listed though, those of which were: Patricia, Jerome, and Tasha. All of which had slurred speech and spoke as if something had bothered each of them. Something was normal with this town and Fawna would get to the bottom of it no matter what! Later that week she wanted to investigate each of the three separately so Fawna could get what she wanted from each of them…

She had made someone feel insecure because of her overeagerness. Even though he looked suspicious he was completely innocent. For today she would retire for the night and continue her search the next day. Before she went to sleep though, Fawna decided to go feast at Ping’s Chinese Restaurant. Even though the food wasn’t top quality the fortune cookies were the most extravagant part of the dishes. Whenever one was opened you never knew what would meet you when you looked at your fortune. Fawna’s fortune had been: You will find a thing, it may be important. Not fully knowing what that had meant Fawna went back to her guest room for the night.
The next day Fawna had witnessed the right hand rhymer in action, making up lies as never before seen! “Step up, step up! Get your future told by the wisest man in the whole land!” said the Rhymer. For a price of $10 Fawna had gotten her fortune told and it was: You will find a thing, it may be important. Flabbergasted by what she had just been told Fawna bolted away back to Ping’s to test her theory. Her foretold future was: Two days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.
