Tiffany's Alternate Ending
Her feet scurried as fast as they could around the rocks. Upon sight hesitated. She saw whom the ocean had spat ashore as if a bad taste. She laid on her back screaming, crying, her body trembling.
When she realized, Elizabeth was observing her, “Come help me!”
The country girl bitterly disliked the obnoxious young lady. Even with those feelings, being a kind and forgiving person. She considered it her obligation to help others in need. Sighed, walked up crouched beside her. Tiffany’s once beautiful dress ripped in many places.
“Are you hurt?”
From worrisome lips, “I don’t believe so.”
She looked into red eyes from which tears stream, “What’s the matter? Why were you yelling and screaming?”
“I’m so weak and hungry. I never experienced this.

“How long have you been awake?”
“Maybe half an hour, I think.”
“Sit up. You’re not going to die.”
“Are you sure?”
“You’re just hungry. You’ll be fine.”
In a voice filled with annoyance, “Yes. All you need is something to eat. Can’t you get up, get yourself something to eat?”
“I don’t know how others have always served me.”
Her head drooped as she shook it, sighed, “That’s the problem with you highfalutin beauty queens. You don’t know how to do anything, but look beautiful. I’m a farmer’s daughter. Use to living a rough life. I know how to survive off the land. If you quit whining and listen to me, both of us will survive.”
The whining voice was about to turn vociferous. Scowling expression displayed a strong bitterness concerning those remarks, prepares to retaliate.
Country girl’s stern eyes stared into those of a spoiled brat. With a firm voice, “How old are you?”
Catching the unpleasant person by surprise, “Twenty.”
“You’re older than I am. Do you see me crying?” Her eyes remained focused.
“No,” from grumbling lips.
“Then grow

Though, it did save my life, it will save yours as well. Now finish it, you can go on a hike with me, help me search for others.”
With eyes full of doubt, “Do you really believe there are still other survivors?”
“Sure, I found you. You survived, didn’t you? Then why wouldn’t I find more survivors?”
A small smile appeared took another bite, her fruit slowly disappeared.
Inspiring confidence and hope within the unpleasant young lady, taking her mind off the taste, “All done? You ate the entire inside of your fruit. You really must have been hungry.”
“I was.”
“We need to get up, continue searching.”
Angered about being ordered, fuming within but knew she would have to put up with her until their rescue. For the moment, her fear of loneliness, starvation, and death had vanished.
Helped to her feet, “We can talk while we search.”
“My shoes; my beautiful shoes are missing.”
“Likely lost in the ocean as are mine, it’s just as well. They’re of no use on this island. You can’t walk in the sand with them, and the ground is too

In order to persuade Pluto to return Proserpina to her mother, the gods sent Quicksiver, to Pluto's dominion. Unwilling to give up, Pluto tried one last time to offer Proserpina a bite, of something to eat, which she kindly declined. All Proserpina longed for was fruit, from her mother's own garden, and so, that is what Pluto searched for. But, sadly, all he could find was a withered old pomegranate, which he eagerly presented it to her. Proserpina knew she could not eat the pomegranate, so she decided to just smell it, but, before she knew it her teeth were sinking into the withered fruit's flesh. Subsequently, after Proserpina tasted to pomegranate, Quicksilver took Proserpina and brought her above ground. With every step she took the grass and grain grew, and all the animals in the land came to feast upon the green, freshly grown, food they had been without since Proserpina was gone. Proserpina began to cry with joy as she saw her mother, hopelessly sitting on the doorstep of their…

After a moment of resting, the girl stood and walked on. After continuing for only a short time, saw a few downed branches that had fallen against another tree. Sarah crawled under them and sat, hoping they'd provide a decent place to sleep. The girl trembled as the darkness wrapped itself around her. Every creak in the trees, every snapping twig, caused a sudden rush of fear. She curled into the fetal position trying to keep warm and make herself feel better. More so than even the noises of the forest, the fear that she had no idea how she got out here, kept her up all night. She kept her eyes open, staring into darkness. Thoughts raced through her head about what happened to her. Why did her head hurt? Why was she in the woods? Did someone actually leave her here? What was she doing before she came to be here? She couldn't remember anything.…
