The first step of any language is to learn its alphabets. We all started from A for Apple, B for Bat and C for Cat.
This lesson is an short introduction on Hindi alphabets. let ush shtart!!!
Hindi is written in Devanagari script. On a paper, it is written from left to right just like English. There are 12 vowels and 36 consonants in Hindi. Fear not, all have equivalent English pronunciations. Unlike Germans and Russians, who have pronunciation signs as well.
Do not try to eat an elephant in 10 mins.
Language learning requires patience and practice. Learn 5 letters a day. 10 days are enough to master the script. This page gives only the demo of what lies ahead in this website.The detailed explanations are given in the separate lessons.
Let us start with the vowels first. The following presentation has 12 vowels.
Each letter is pronounced exactly like the first syllable of the word given below.

Hindi Barakhadi :Twelve Hindi vowels when put behind a consonant gives us 12 different sounds from each consonants. Twelve is “baarah” in Hindi which gives us Barakhadi.
