I. Background & Purpose of Site Visit
The purpose of the visit was to see the orphanage which was run by a dedicated man Mr.
Madhavarao, I heard this news from one of the Asha Hyderbad Volunteers (Giridhar) involved with this project, It was situated in Hyderbad near Giridhar’s house, I was in the project visit for
FS2S project at that time and I was very happy to see this project, because the home which is meant for the orphans boys. I visited this orphanage twice (once on Feb 12th and on Feb 13th).
The purpose of this visit was to learn and see how the home was functioning and I have learnt so many things from the home. The children are great and their academics are excellent and I was very happy to see the children with the smiling faces and they welcomed me with a dance. The main purpose of the visit was to take this project and how Asha can support these children and make a difference.

II. Site visit notes & observations
On 12th Night I went to the Orphanage and visited the children. The name of the
Orphanage was “Aadarana” in Telugu and it means to hug and provide shelter to the needy with homely atmosphere. My observations about this orphanage were all the children in this
Aadarana have no parents and they are from the neighboring districts and rural places in Andhra
Pradesh. And also the founder goes himself to the villages and identifies the orphans and he takes them to his Orphanage and gives them education food and shelter. It’s really very difficult to see a person with very much affection to
