Which wasn’t much of a massacre than just a couple fatalities in a fight. The so-called ‘massacre’ started when a group of colonists crowded around stationed British soldiers and started taunting them, calling them ‘lobster backs’ (because of their red coats) and throwing snowballs at them. The soldiers were angered at this, of course, and shot into the crowd. The colonists were egging the soldiers on, and they were armed! What did they think, that the soldiers wouldn’t shoot or get angry? After all this, a man named Paul Revere decided to use his welding skills and make out the scene for the people that weren’t there to witness it. In that process, he decided to make it look like the Boston people were innocent while the armed soldiers looked terrifying. The man spread misinformation just so he could get the other colonists in other places enraged about the horrible deed the British soldiers had done. To further his point, he dubbed it to be called the ‘Boston Massacre’ to intrigue people while reading their papers. Now what? What was the next thing for the colonists to complain about? Tea, of
