Essay Question: “To what extent was the U.S. justified in dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?”
The Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki dropped or not, were ones of the man-made disasters that occurred on August 6 1945, and August 9 1945 respectively. The launching of the atomic bomb has numerous opinions and aspects on whether United States of America should be justified for launching atomic bombs on those cities or not. The essay question for our class is, “To what extent was the United States justified in dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?”. Which means, the continuance of the conventional wars would have prolonged the war, making larger expenditure.On the ground of the massive sizes of each troops, However, this report did not include the casualties in the Japanese side, and any additional costs such as individual consumption. Which means, utilizing atomic weapons can be resulted in less casualties, so it was inevitable for the Unites States of America to not follow the conventional wars, but to launch atomic bombs. If United States’ army simply attacked Japan with no atomic weapons, it would have led to millions of casualties for both sides, and copious money to restore the army.
