When it comes to concluding whether games are just an entertainment to kill time or are attached to other benefits, the latter choice may pride itself as a better alternative. Its merits, as many cases suggests, are based on several reasons. Games benefits aren't just confined to relaxing pastime and method of studying, it also plays a role as a contributor for one's mental health.
Educational game is one of the reason that justifies my choice, games that include studies of geography, history, mathematics and so on are founded easily nowadays, from simple electronic devices to websites online. These kind of games are beneficial for its players, as there will be possibilities of learning while playing.
To reinforce the idea, games involving sports that require team work - football, basketball, etc - are also beneficial for its participants, especially for the youngsters. Both sports encourage a person to treat others with respect in the game, which is known as having good sportsmanship. To be more specific, sports in childhood provides opportunities to nurture physical fitness and social interaction skills. Moreover, those skills learned from the games, in the future, can turn out to be fundamental for a person's successful career.
To put more emphasis on the topic, when it comes to playing board games, in particular chess, the players are often suggested to watch, pause and then cautiously make the next move. This scenario could also serve as a reminder when we are confronted with a make-or-break decision - either changing career or staking a staggering sum of money on a business.
Additionally, brain-stimulating activities from simple magic cube, sudoku, chess, to online games that requires brainstorming strategies to defeat the evil king are extremely beneficial for one's mental health. In other words, a lifestyle that includes playing those kinds of mental training games frequently, may decrease the possibility of getting memory loss diseases such as
