The first time Tom Grant had met with Courtney in person, the first words out of her mouth were “you leak this to the press, i’ll sue the f*** out of you.” Tom later mentioned in an interview that every time he was with her she was either on drugs or doing drugs. On-lookers started questioning his loyalty to Courtney and the fact that since he was working for her, why wasn’t he on her side? Was he creating a conspiracy theory to gain publicity, or maybe even fame? Tom Grant mentioned in another interview that “the word conspiracy is actually a legal term. It simply means two or more people plotting or planning to commit a crime… When somebody refers to me as a conspiracy theorist, I take it as an insult because I know what they mean by it.
