She wrote the book to help children facing a situation that she lived for 19 years as a child sexually abused. She struggled to find a way to keep going after the painful trial that came back as a hung jury, and let her abuser walk away without a day in jail. She fought to escape reality through drugs and alcohol, suicide attempts only to discover in her darkest hour of desperation, a light of hope. God snatched her out of the flames and darkness that surrounded her, and showed her how to find life in Him. It takes one major blow to turn the course of a life upside down. In Pitcher’s Hands, Curt was the guy who held the standard for a college student. In fact, his Christian morals lead him to a volunteer opportunity to help a paraplegic take a bath once a week. It seemed as if Curt was living a model Christian life. Now take Brad from The Voice of the Body into consideration. He was willing to be dragged along to church weekly with his parents, had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, and did not communicate well with his parents. For both Curt and Brad, it only took one event in each of their lives to alter their walk of life forever in the faith.…

My subculture of Mixed Martial Arts ( MMA ) started about 4 years ago, while I was in 8th grade. I need a sport, but I wanted a sport different from what everyone else was doing. So I decided to give MMA a try, and I was instantly hooked after my first day of class. I train a out of the Armory Training Center in Jupiter, Florida. My subculture has personally grown for me because I have taken many more classes from the initial Brazilian Ju-Jitsu class. I have moved on to things such as Kempo, Mau-tai, etc. Another main reason for choosing this sport was the fact I needed some self-defense techniques, and to boost my self confidence. As a pre-teen my self confidence level was very low, I would be such a quiet kid, not knowing how to be my self with a group of friends. Ever since I started MMA my self confidence level has gone through the roof, and I can do anything.…
