TOPICS FOR ORAL PRESENTATION
INSTRUCTIONS
In the second round, you will be asked to draw ONE of the following topics. You will have 10 minutes to prepare your topic before presenting the topic for 7 minutes. After your presentation, the oral examiners will ask you some questions about that topic in about 3 minutes.
NB: Each topic will be drawn 2 times at most.
Do not present more than 7 minutes.

TOPIC 1: TRAVEL
It is said that “Travel broadens people’s knowledge”. How far do you agree or disagree with this statement? How important is it for a country to have lots of tourists? (Use your own examples and experiences to support your idea)

TOPIC 2: TECHNOLOGY
“Technology has made the world a better place to live.”
Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
TOPIC 3: SCHOOL LIFE
What are some important qualities of a good student? Use specific details and examples to explain why these qualities are important.

TOPIC 4: EDUCATION
“Some students prefer to study alone. Others prefer to study with a group of students.
Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

TOPIC 5: PRESERVATION
“Many parts of the world are losing important natural resources, such as forests, animals or clean water.
Which resources are disappearing? Why do they need saving? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

TOPIC 6: HEALTH
“People do different things to stay healthy.”
What are the different things people do to stay healthy? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

TOPIC 7: FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Studying the English language in an English-speaking country is the best but not the only way to learn the language.
Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
