More importantly and the real reason why most people buy a Prius, is the incredible fuel economy rating. According to the EPA, the 2016 Prius is rated at 58 miles per gallon in the city along with 50 miles per gallon out on the open highway. The Prius is considered to be the most fuel efficient hybrid currently on the market.
Interior
The interior of the 2016 Toyota Prius has undergone a number of very obvious changes including the addition of a more traditional center console replete with cupholders, a convenient storage cubby, and a padded armrest. Also available this year is an optional heads-up display that displays vital information directly in front of the driver on the windshield. The new lowered location of the driver's seat is sure to be a hit with taller drivers as it offers more leg and headroom than in previous models.
