A tragic hero is someone who makes a judgment error that inevitably leads to his or own destruction. This takes place in Rome where julius Caesar is betrayed and assassinated unexpectedly by brutus and his fellow conspirators. Caesar trusted brutus the most out of any the conspirators. Brutus’s ancestor, Junius brutus overthrown the kings of Rome, which makes brutus born of noble birth. You and i have heard our fathers talk another Brutus your ancestor, who would’ve let the devil himself reign in his Roman republic before he let a king rule”(1.2 .10). Caesar cared about the people before he even cared for himself. He listened to his conspirators that killed him and not his wife Cassius. Cassius told him that something bad was going to happen and he did not listen, he wanted to show that he was strong not weak. Caesar wants to be a king that is there for the people and the conspirators disagree, for them it was all jealousy and betrayal. Then at the end brutus couldn’t live without Caesar knowing that he did it for the better of
