Introduction
Poland is a country located in Central Europe. Roughly until early 1990, Poland had central economy. Central economy is a concept of economy which government has full control of. The government sets the price of the products, so that everyone in the country is able to afford the goods and services. It keeps the resource usage to the minimum by keeping the goods and services production very limited. Poland was a part of Soviet Union during World War II, and the country faced collapse of communism in the late 1980s (Wikipedia) which led to a change in the system of the country, and influenced economy to change into transition economy.
A transition economy is a change in economy from central planning to free markets (Economics Online).
