Transition Into Adulthood

At this age range, it was also the beginning of my transition into adulthood known as puberty. I started my period when I was ten years old. It occurred during the summer on vacation with my dad in New Jersey. He took me to his nail shop in the mall where I was able to go anywhere I wanted, as long as I came back for closing time. I remember walking through half of the store in the mall until I went back to my dad nail shop to get money for food and to use the bathroom. My stomach had been hurting that day and when I went I notice blood in my undies. I honestly thought I had pooped in my pants since my tummy had been hurting that day. I told myself to just wait an extra hour until my dad was going to leave and then I could go home and shower.
