Maldives is a developing country. People in Maldives travel by air land and sea. As time goes we could predict the changes in transportation that would occur by 2050.
As Maldives is an island scattered in the Indian Ocean Sea and air are the main modes of transport. Out of that air transport is becoming more important for the people as it takes less time and is more convenient and safe. Hence by 2050 air transport is more likely to develop. Currently we have our own national airlines that fly on regular basis, along with sea planes. However by 2050, it’s predicted that the number of seaplanes will increase, and there will be helicopters. More people will also be able to afford the sea planes and the helicopters. By 2050 private jets will also be seen. The country will be economically able to afford them. Helipads will be made in different area of the islands so that one can land on anywhere of Maldives using one’s own helicopter. Even though this will make the traffic busier. Also ways to overcome this will be found and every plane will be closely monitored.
In addition to that sea transport will also increase considerably. There will be express launches of different sizes instead of dhoani’s and ferry. More bridges will be made between close by islands to make it more convenient for the people and also for the transport of goods. By 2050 small speed launches will be more affordable to people.
Furthermore, land transport will increase and this will really change the lives of people. First of all, highways will be made to prevent congestion and avoid accidents. Road traffic will be more efficiently monitored using sensors and data loggers. Any vehicle crossing the speed limit or breaking road rules will be identified and stopped by the traffic sensor. The main vehicle to be used in land transport in 2050 is most likely to be the car, as people are very fond of them at the present too.
Moreover the vehicles in 2050 will be
