Trifles By Susan Glaspell: A Symbolic Analysis
As we all know symbols in a story are a good way for the author to let the reader know that theres is more to something that what it appears be. “Susan Glaspell” play “Trifles” uses certain symbols so that the reader can have a better understanding of the occurrences during the play. For example the bird symbolizes Mrs Wright personality, the bird cage is a symbol to Mrs wright surroundings and the quilt symbolizes her emotional state. they may seem like small object but we understand that the carrie a much more bigger symbolic meaning.
