show, which reveals the differentiations between the two records; the woman and the man. She battles halfway on the parts of a woman in the overall population, how perspectives and learning are minimized or regarded in some particular settings.
Looking back on the gender roles, this play’s tone is pretty dark and definitely one-sided. Throughout the play, you can realized that the men stick with the men and the women stick with the women. The time the play is set in is exactly how it would be. The women were looked down on and were treated like they were nothing. The men were so superior compared to the women. In this play, the men that go to the home of the Wright’s are full force when they try to blame the wife. But on the other side, the friends of Mrs. Wright do not fully believe it and soon try to help cover up her mess. This play is dark in the way that the wife murdered her husband. Back then you did not have the choice of leaving. The men were just so controlling. I know murder is not the way to go but I feel for the women from that time. Even the thought of killing my husband gives me chills and I wonder how in the world someone could even do that. Looking back on that time period, the women were controlled and were not allowed to do anything. They had to listen to their husband, whereas now you are your own person and you do not have to go by anyone else’s rules. I can kind of relate to this woman in a way. In one of my past relationships, the guy was very controlling. He was verbally and emotionally abusive and I did not have the strength at the time to save myself and leave. He always talked down to me and told me I was not allowed to do certain things or hang out with some of my friends. Thankfully I have some great friends that helped me escape his controlling ways and now I am so much happier. I can relate to Mrs. Wright’s freeing feeling knowing I did not have to put up with him anymore.

The fruit container in the room unraveled the life of Minnie, which was so diminish and required some light. She was disconnected from people which made her frigid throughout everyday life and marriage. The name Minnie was represented being inconsequential or little scale. It suggested the restricted right of a woman in the overall population. The small bird that had been restricted in the house symbolized Mrs. Wright is kept in imprisonment, which is in the house. The pen of the animal being crushed and executed means Mrs. Wright was being executed by stifling by her life partner. Keeping it in the pen was symbol of Mrs. Wright that she isn't allowed to be in the outside world, yet was kept inside the building. So her executing her better half, was done as such to set herself free from the ensnarement of her significant other. It illuminates how women have been manhandle and simply kept in homes and are not allowed to be with different people. The way the women and men came up in the examination, gives us the two unmistakable strategies for judgment from the two sexual orientations. The women developed this kind of companionship since they started from a similar land bolster that affected them to have affectability for each other. Due to a comparable frustration and disappointment, which rose up out of the male driven relations of sexes,
the women covered it with a particular true objective to challenge the legitimate structure, which is male-centered. The all-inclusive community, who share comparable characteristics, tend to stick together when an issue comes in and makes a point to anchor each other amid the entire demonstration. In this play, the women endeavor to end the aggressive behavior at home and the dishonorable demonstrations using trifles. In Trifles, there are the female specialists; they have both experienced similar experiences while living in Midwest. This play elucidates a strong sentiment of a given place, the stories of bad behavior and the place presented has an impressive measure of criticalness of inside conflicts of the liable party and the loss. In any wrongdoing, there is a believability to be changed by an effort by counterfeit and the social improvement, which ought to be expressive and static as it seemed to be.
