Trip: When I Woke and Ms. Bat
My Odyssey

Let me take you through what has happened so far; my senior year, which was 2016, I pulled a prank, my senior prank. I sat for months mulling over what to do; thumbtack on chair, loosen bolts on a desk, spray paint or graffiti the gym; I had all these ideas and could not decide! Then finally I thought of one that I just had to do. It was calling and tempting me, and let me tell you, when mean ol’ Ms. Bat came in her room she did not expect all of her desks, tables, and chairs to be turned upside down, all of her books to books to be stacked to look like a seat and stepping stones, and blue suds to be all over the floor. The best part is the ragged old doll that looked like a witch and was dressed up like her. When she walked in first period and saw that classroom, her eyes started to twitch, her face turned red, and I swore I saw steam come out of that woman’s ears. She knew that my friends and I had done it, as we were the only seniors in a freshman class. Ms. Bat took my friends and I to Mr. Tedford, he was not happy! That mean bag suspended us for the rest of our senior year, but he did let us graduate so that he and the teachers didn’t have to deal with us next year. After graduation, my parents shipped me off to college with nothing but a bag of clothes. They made me leave Dustin and my horse Kermit behind. I didn’t know what to do. I finished my six years of college and saved up some money from a part-time job, then took off to Tennessee. When I arrived in Tennessee, I was so lost. I didn’t know anyone and was lonely, so I called up those friends I hadn’t seen in years and they lived in Tennessee! After talking for a bit they knew where I was, picked me up, and took me to their cabin in Gatlinburg. While in Tennessee I into a guy from high School, his name was Travis. He used to have the biggest crush on me. Thinking he got over it, I went and talked to him, He ended up kidnapping me! I wasn’t very big, but I can put up a

The story started when one night I snuck out of my house to go to a party, as a result, that night I slept over at a friend’s house and found a ride home the next morning. When the car pulled into the driveway the morning after, I thanked the driver and walked up to my front porch with a sly smile to greet my obviously frustrated parents. As my mom ushered me to sit down on one of the chairs on our front porch, I know that nothing good is going to…

I’m not much of an intense type of guy and I don’t really get into much that’s too crazy for someone my age. At this time I was with my dad and I was extremely small and didn’t pay a lot of attention.…

The only problem was that Jones already set up a prank before he left period three. When the first kid opened the door there was supposed to be a bucket full of bright blue slime poured onto them and everyone else. When Mason got to the classroom, he walked in there as fast as he was pushed out. He didn’t remember that they had a class picture, they probably took it when he was gone so everyone got slime in their hair. When Jones strolled in, Mrs. Wilson’s face was already so scarlet he thought she was going to pop. That was when Mason Jones was admonished from the…

Hey. The name’s Cinderella. Where I want to start my story is when my Dad married this phony after Mom died. Now I’ve got two crumby step-sisters, who aren’t exactly on the pretty side, and they make me work in the goddamn kitchen. I mean for chrissake, they make me work in my own goddamn kitchen. So anyway, this guy came over and invited them to some dance. I guess he was some sort of prince or something. Well I didn’t feel like being lousy and depressed all night so I went to the dance to. It was full of jerks. I mean these guys were real snobs. This one guy was practically on top of me for God’s sake. It was that phony the Prince. So I danced with the guy, I’m not sure why, him being such a snob and all. Then it was midnight and I didn’t much feel like sticking around. On my way out my goddamn shoe fell off. I mean that’s the last thing I need right now for chrissake. Anyway the Prince came over and picked it up. I guess he was some kind of perv or something. I didn’t want to talk to him or anything, so I got out of there like a bat out of hell. The next day the perv comes to my goddamn house with my goddam shoe. He tries to put it on those dopes, my sisters. It doesn’t fit. Of course it doesn’t fit for chrissake. I mean look at those feet. They look like some sort of clown feet or something. Any idiot can tell it doesn’t fit. This Prince guy isn’t too bright. Anyway, he comes over to me a puts it on, that’s when he asked to marry me. I turned him down. I didn’t want to be rude or anything, but he was such a goddam phony. They’re all goddam phonies, the Prince, my sisters, my step-mom, all of them. I think I really kind of hate this place.…

As the students quickly rushed to their lockers, grabbed their backpacks and ran out the school, we overheard conversations of plans for the week. We stopped to speak to a girl clearly on a mission to get home. As we walked quickly behind her, she said loudly, “I’m sick and damn tired of all these people I just want to go home and watch Netflix for three days!” She then sped up and ran away from us.…

Back when I was a littlun, my daddy worked in the meat factory and mama stayed at home cleaning the house and making me my dinner. My parents wanted me to be a smarty, so they made me go to school. They also said I was a good singer, so I decided to join the boys choir. Me and my best bud Charles would go down to the river to skip rocks, but sometimes we would go play chicken on the railroad tracks. Sometimes daddy would say “Stephen, wanna come a huntin with me?” and I would tag along behind him while he hunted for pheasant. I never really listened to daddy’s rules, so he decided to send me off to some fancy boarding school. It was at this point in my life where everything started taking a turn for the worst.…

Anyways that day I was with a couple of my friends and streaking got brought into conversation. And one of them suggested I did it at the potato bowl, and I agreed. So I called a couple of people and asked if they wanted to do it. One Palmer boy and one Colony boy said that they would do it with me, so I went to the store and bought red, blue, and green and white paint. The plan was to paint all of our bodies our school colors, with a white W, P and C on the all of our chests. As the night got later and time got closer to doing it, both of the boys chickened out. Everyone after that started saying I wasn't gonna do it, and doubting me. Im the type of person who doesn't like getting told to do, and when kids are telling me Im not gonna do something, I have to. Im a daredevil. So you can probably guess what I did that night.…

As soon as I stepped from the dorm steps social control began to take place, my roommate Jason was the first to notice. "Why are you walking like that?" he asked. I responded by saying "like what" shrugged my shoulders and kept walking to class. Ten more students passed and my friend Alicia stopped me, "where is u going walking backwards?" I simply stated "I don't know?" "Where are you going walking forwards?" Confused she let me continue with my walk to class. Three fourths of the way there I heard my name being called so I stopped to see who it was, James my roommate came over to me inquiring the same thing many other students I'm sure were thinking. She told me to follow her to the office. We arrived to the office and she told me to have a seat. I saw her head to her desk and started dialing the phone to call someone. What killed me was because she called my mother and, she told my mother that she was writing expulsion papers. I had never been in trouble before so I was kind of nervous. I was afraid to see what my mom said about it. Long story short I got expelled in sixth grade behind the wrong crowd doing the wrong things. It is just amazing on how much that I love school. School is the place where I go to relax and have fun. It is just so exponentially exciting going to the same place over and over again for what seems like an eternity. The biggest and most amazing surprise is all the amount of crap the teachers give us to do. I like having to waste my significant time being in a place that I wholeheartedly want to be at. I hope that the teachers have as just as much as fun as me going to the same prison all day long. I just love going to school over and over again, day after day.…
