“If it is truly meant to be, it will be” Whoever thought of this quote is a genius, I think everyone can relate to it in some sort of way.
When we are young and vulnerable we may think that out significant other is the one we might want to spend the rest of our lives with. But honestly, it does not always end up in your favor, you might be one of the lucky ones and they might be “the one” for you. More times than not we end up breaking off the relationship, moving on with our lives, and finding someone, or sometimes even a few people, other than them. Moving on to another person that makes us feel perfect. I mean, who doesn’t want to be adored, loved, and cared for? I think that the heart longs for that feeling. You might think you love someone, but your heart is the only one who really knows what your true feelings are. When your heart feels satisfied, you will know, and you will feel it. That is how you will know when you are truly in-love. People are always looking for love, but, why not let love find you? Why lose memories by searching for someone.
All my life my grandma would always help me get over a “break-up” with a guy. She would help me understand, by telling me repeatedly, that “if it is truly meant to be, it will be”. At first, it was hard to believe because it is way easier said than done. She told me her story, and it was then that I became a believer. My grandma became friends with a boy named Robert in 1967 when she was in 8th grade. They stayed close and continued their friendship until they both thought that they should take the next step. They decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend. My grandma says “It really was love at first sight”. My grandma’s mother really did not appreciate her daughter dating she said that she was “too young”. My great grandma became even stricter than before. Every now and then they would get to go out together, but it was hard for them to do much because of my great grandma. Eventually, he got tired of waiting around for her and they broke up. They stayed friends up until graduation.
Robert got married, had a daughter, and later got a divorce. He was also constantly moving as he was in the service. My grandma also moved and got married, later got divorced, and then got married again to Dennis. She was with him for 28 years; they had my mom and my aunt together. The relationship she had with him was not goof at all. She needed to remove herself from that situation; she was worried something bad was going to happen to one of them.
At the end of 1990 my grandma came back home to Kenosha. Two weeks after she was home she got a phone call. It was Robert who had been calling. She asked him “how did you know I was home?” he said that he always remembered the number and he just had a gut feeling. So after talking for a while they decided to go out to dinner.
They went out to a nice restaurant and when she got there, there was a rose and champagne. They both agreed that this was in fact their “first date” after how many years. During the course of the evening they talked and she told him that she didn’t know what she wanted and she didn’t want to hurt him. He told her to take a year to herself and think about what she wanted. She spent a lot of time with my family doing enjoyable things. She was having the time of her life, without a worry on her mind, except one thing.
It was a year later, the end of 2001, she called him up and decided to ask to take him out to dinner, she told him that she didn’t know if he was in a serious relationship but it didn’t matter to her, she just wanted to be friends. She didn’t hear back from him for quite a while but she waited. She later found out he was out of time for a few days for work. They finally went out as a couple. Obviously, things went good; she moved in with him in September of 2002. As of today they have been living together for 11 years. They are so happy together. She says it was “meant to be” and it sure was. He accepts everything about her, and loves her for her. They do plan on getting married eventually someday, but I don’t need a piece of paper saying he is my grandpa. I know in my heart that he is supposed to be my grandpa.
For better or worse, I believe that if it is meant to be, it will be. Let love find you. You will be much happier letting it come naturally instead of forcing it. Listen to your heart; it knows you better than anyone.

Your company has gotten great reviews from us in the past, but within the last year your service has been far from the usual. When I come in each morning, offices are not cleaned thoroughly; there are many of your chemicals left in some of our busiest hallways, and several other messes throughout my business. The final straw was on last Friday when your night cleaning shift left our office unlocked. From midnight to 8 AM my facility was susceptible to break-ins, which at this point, I cannot risk happen.…

1. Updike arranges details artfully in order to set the story in a perfectly ordinary supermarket. His description of the appearance of the supermarket itself offers a vivid image. Updike talks about a girl in a bathing suit “in the cool of the A & P, under the fluorescent lights, against all those stacked packages, with her feet padding along naked over our checkerboard green-and-cream rubber-tile floor” (14). This offers the perfect description of a modern supermarket. The way in which Updike describes the three girls walking down the aisles adds to the supermarket image. Updike explains, “The fat one with the tan sort of fumbled with the cookies, but on second thought she put the packages back. The sheep pushing their carts down the aisle” (14). The author adds to the illustration with a description of this consumer, whose approach and actions reflect those of any supermarket customer.…

Students, APA formatting is not required, however, you are required to substantiate your responses and opinions with laws, cases, statutes, codes, regulations or anything else that gives credibility to your answers. Remember, this is a legal class. Also, remember to state issues, integrate facts, discuss both sides of an issue, thoroughly analyze each question in detail, and lastly, conclude, based upon your legal findings and premise. You can have more than one conclusion as long as you argue both sides of an issue. You don’t need one absolute conclusion. The most important thing in law would be your ability to see both sides, argue them, and present alternative conclusions based upon these factors.…

Now, we have to go over defining love, because clearly it is not properly introduced in Shakespeare's play. There is no specific way to know you're in love, because if you actually are you should just know, and feel it. There's no telling that a first love will never last. There is no rule that you can only be in love when you are a certain age. Anyone is capable of love. Teenage love is true too, and can be strong. Or at least, some is. You cannot say that a person is only in love when they feel certain things. It only matters that you do know the person somewhat well, and you strongly care about them. That they bring out a positive part of you or make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, and that you feel no need…

In the essay “ Expertise Dissected,” Daniel J. Levitin believes that barely anyone can become an expert in their area without continuos practice. Moreover, he mentions that although talent is a major factor that people acquire skills more rapidly than others, with only talent, one cannot achieve success in that area. Finally, Levitin emphasizes that practice is the most essential factor leading to a significant achievement. From my point of view, I totally agree with Levitins’ opinions. Based on my life experience and the book I read, I think his points are totally correct. All in all, practice is the most important foundation for success.…

The fifth child of Rev. Timothy and Esther Edwards, Jonathan was the only boy in their family of 11 children. He was born in 1703 in East Windsor, Connecticut. Edwards' smartness was noticeable from an early age. He went to Yale before he was 13 years old and graduated as the valedictorian. Three years later he received his master's degree. At the age of 23, Jonathan Edwards succeeded his grandfather, Solomon Stoddard, as pastor of the church in Northampton, Massachusetts. It was the richest and most influential church in the colony, outside of Boston. Jonathan Edwards married Sarah Pierpoint in 1727. They had three sons and eight daughters. Edwards was a key figure in the Great Awakening, a period of religious passion in the middle of the 18th century. Not only did this movement bring people to the Christian faith, but it also influenced the fathers of the Constitution, who guaranteed freedom of religion in the United States.…

The deaf community believes a deaf person's ability to live a full and meaningful life is not compromised by his or her deafness, so the suggestion that cochlear implants provide advantages over a deaf lifestyle is shortsighted and insensitive. Many deaf people deal very well with their deafness, learning sign language and lip reading and adapting their work and home environments to accommodate their loss of hearing. Another controversy surrounding cochlear implants and the deaf community is the safety and effectiveness of the procedure. Cochlear implants may be viewed as disrespectful and insulting, since the medical community views deafness as a handicap which must be treated or corrected. Most people do not want to have cochlear implants they are afraid of hearing the world around them. Most of the time these controversial issues build up when the person is an adult and has spent most of their time being deaf and now have all those concerns about the cochlear implants.…
