Americans, especially republicans voting for Trump and less democrats for Hillary, some not voting for either one. That is why Donald Trump is our president, whom wasted no time to maximize full potentials in his first 100 days, but with a whole lot of actions, comes a variety of effects. With Trump in office, the first effect the world witnessed was protests, riots, and movements. Streets, cities and Trump towers quickly illuminated the sky with outbreak. Millions marched the streets expressing their hatred against Trump and his supporters without any fear, yelling, screaming, fighting, and destroying properties. Cops, supporters, pedestrians, and fans are being killed, injured, assaulted, and bullied in a handful of cities. This year’s Women’s March saw the greatest number of supporters all around the world, who saw the perfect opportunity to protest and advocate legislation and policies regarding racial equality, women’s right, immigration reform, and healthcare reform, in which the president is turning his back upon. Recently, Trump has implemented a new immigration ban on 7 Muslim-majority countries, affecting their family, status and the world’s view on America.
With the new ban, we watched as families cry in despair and a new set of protect calling Trump and America racist. This changes the way many countries view the U.S. negatively, along with heated tempers, unleashing inspiration for Trump impeachment. Not only does the ban affect those 7 countries, but also thousands of people living in America really trying to become a U.S. Citizen as quickly as possible due to their fear of being removed from America. The greater affecting actions include repealing the Affordable Care Act affecting millions of people with Obama Care and higher cost for those from 50 to 64 years of age. Voting for Trump, Americans has to deal with other executive orders such as withdrawing from the TPP, a government hiring freeze, more pipelines, cutting funds for sanctuary cities, taxes for a wall along the US border with Mexico, two new travel bans, and expenses to defeating ISIS. Trump’s proposed budget plans will lower the spending for every other category except for veteran affairs, homeland security, and defense, therefore budget for things like environmental protection agency, labor, justice, education, and health and human services will decrease by 14 to 31 percent. This means for those that are not veterans, they will be receiving fewer fulfillments. It doesn’t end there yet, Trump has been getting into warfare lately, ordering 59 cruise missiles on Syrian airfields and military infrastructure. Well it’s great to destroy bases, but these strikes caused tension between U.S. and Russia, as Russian fleets travel near US destroyers, warning Trump. On April 13, 2017 Trump ordered the US military to drop the mother of all bombs on Afghanistan, but it comes with a hefty price tag, upsetting many citizens who are ranting about the waste of money on warfare, instead improving the improving the education system and improving the
economy. The latest effects from Donald Trump as our president takes the world’s attention to a possible nuclear war with North Korea. Trump as we all know, talks tough and does not hesitate, affecting Kim Jong Un to make nuclear threats against the U.S. and fiercely fighting back through words and declaring that he will launch nuclear missiles. Currently the US military got their swords drawn and trigger ready for any strike as tensions are erupting and leaving many countries fearing a World War 3.
Although plenty of people hate Trump to death, votes made up the end result of the 2016 election, voters living next door took side with an extreme president with forceful orders and explosive temper. It was in the hands of each one of these American voters to allow Trump to rule the country is such ways that are never seen before in American history. These effects and explanation only represent a minimal portion of the plethora effects brought in by Trump in office. There remains three years left of Trump’s presidency and continuation of negative effects.
