He took his sneakiness as an advantage to get his next victim. Tsutomu found his next victim on October 3, 1988. Miyazaki was driving along a rural road when he spotted seven year old Masami Yoshizawa. He offered her a ride, and she accepted. He drove to the same place he had killed Konno Mari, and killed Masami. He raped Masami's dead body and took her clothes with him. Masami's disappearance led the police to paper the area with posters, and organize extensive search parties. Miyazaki’s killings came to an end when he attempted to abduct another young girl but was stopped by her father. He fled but when he returned to his car he was arrested. A search of his home brought the discovery of human remains, films, photography, and clothing belonging to the victims of the young girls.
