Tuesday Of The Other June Essay

After reading the story “Tuesday Of The Other June” By: Norma Fox Mazer and looking at the picture and listening/reading the lyrics to the song “Invisible” By: Hunter Hayes, it clearly shows that the topic of all three of these is bullying. These are some of the reasons why I think the topic of all three of these is bullying. After looking at the picture of the little boy getting bullied and not trying to fight back or do anything about it made me think that the theme is bullying. What I am trying to say is that we should never bully because think about the way others are feeling and do not always think about what makes you popular of cool. Showing the kids bullying the kid on the picture shows that you should never bully, he might not look like he is hurt on the outside, but on the inside he is probably really hurt for having people saying bad things
about him. There is so much you can do to hurt someone or bully them, but you do not know what it feels like on the inside to have that happen to you. It is your choice to bully or not bully, but think about how others might feel on the inside about it because they probably won’t show it on the outside. This is one reason why I think the theme of all these is bullying and bullying is not good.
Additionally, this girl June was faced with the same problem of getting bullied by a girl that she swam with. It was the girl's choice to bully her or be friends with her. She started bullying her because they had the same name and the other June did not like that so she started calling her “Fish eyes”. Every day at practice, she would call her different names and she would keep bullying her and before you knew it she was getting called that by the other people that did swim with her. So they moved to different house because June's mom got a different job, but now she got bullied again because they were neighbors and went to the same school. Rather than June just keeping all of her hurt feelings inside she stood up for herself and got the other June to stop bullying her. This came from not wanting to get bullied anymore and sticking up for her, because she was tired of getting bullied. This why I think the topic of this story is also bullying.
Finally, From the song Invisible by: Hunter Hayes it also shows that the topic of these are bullying.
It says “ Crowded hallways are the loneliest places, For outcasts and rebels, Or anyone who just dares to be different, And you've been trying for so long,To find out where your place is,But in narrow minds, There’s no room for anyone who dares to do something different.” This is saying that there are bullies everywhere, but if you dare to do something that they think is uncool or if you do something that makes you look like an idiot they won’t accept you for who you are they will bully you because you are not cool and make you feel really hurt. It also say, “Those words cut deep but they don’t mean you're alone, And you’re not invisible.” This is saying yea they might bully you, but you are perfect the way you are and remember that you are never alone someone is just like you and you are doing the best you can do. Also it is saying you should never bully because the people that you bully might feel hurt and feel like they're invisible. This is another reason why I think the topic is bullying for these
three. The theme of the article, video, and picture is that you should never bully because think about how much it might hurt someone on the inside. So all of these these things that I looked at I got this for the theme that you should never bully because it could hurt someone so much on the inside.
