Tumblr Analysis
Tumblr lets users create their own blogs from an existing library of templates and hosts those blogs for free. The New York-based company raised more than $10 million by April, with three rounds of funding led by Union Square Ventures and Spark Capital(http://venturebeat.com/2010/09/07/tumblr-growing-pains/) Tumblr has not yet made public how it plans to make money, though it has toyed with some ideas, like sales of virtual gifts and premium themes (http://venturebeat.com/2010/09/07/tumblr-growing-pains/)

Demographics: Are changing population demographics affecting this industry? What demographic trends will affect the acceptance or rejection of the client’s product/service? If you recommend your client target a specific demographic group, determine if there will be population shifts into or out of that market. Also, are there any other demographic groups growing in size or market attractiveness that might represent promising future markets for the product? For example, the growing size of the Latino population has created opportunities for many industries, as has the general aging of America. f. Key publics: Are there other publics that have power or impact in this industry? Examples include financial (investors), media, government, and special interest groups.

After the war and during the early 1930’s there were four leading causes of death: heart disease, cancer, pneumonia, and infectious and parasitic diseases including influenza and syphilis. One every twenty Americans were too sick for work or school usually taking approximately ten days for a full recovery, however, people began taking vitamins, insulin, and other nutrients which helped create a longer lifespan for the average American. Even with these factors to consider, the biggest issue was a method of payment for medical treatment. Forty percent of Americans relied on relief and many doctors never saw payment. Hospitals felt financial troubles as unpaid bills doubled and donations fell.…

This song is so different from his many other songs because it isn’t his usual graphic and vulgar type of music. This is one song that really gets to me and make me really understand what he is talking about, because I truly love and appreciate my mom also.…
