Wellness includes five main categories, which are physical, social, mental, emotional and spiritual development. To maintain satisfactory health, it is essential that we go to great lengths to maintain wealthy conditions in all of those areas. I am evaluating my performances in every single part, and it came to my realisation while my spiritual health is the strongest, my physical health is the weakest, which is actually one score apart from my social health.…

Propositions are statements that establish the relationships between concepts. Within the mentioned theory, there are many propositions that can be established. One such proposition is that uncertainty in illness results from a lack of cognitive schema development when a person has an illness related event. Another proposition would be that individual cognitively process illness-related stimuli and structure meaning from the events (McEwen & Wills, p.243, 2014). It can also be said that changes in uncertainty occur over time, either creating positive or negative assessment of uncertainty. Lastly, the theory proposes that uncertainty is an opportunity. Meaning that being uncertain “opens up the consideration of multiple possibilities…

Healthy people 2020 objectives related to adolescent is to reduce use of cigarettes use by adolescents by 3.5 percent and the initiation of cigarette use by 2 percent. Another goal would be to reduce the number of adolescents that are exposed to cigarette smoke by 4.5 percent. Statistics from Healthy People 2020 show that in 2008 and 2009 19.5 percent of adolescents were current smokers, 6.3 percent had just begun smoking in the past 12 months, and 45.5 percent of adolescents who do not smoke were exposed to secondhand smoke (Healthy people 2020, 2017). We believe the overall goal for this population is to increase their knowledge of tobacco’s negative effects on their health. The purpose of education on this topic would be to reduce the number of people who use these products, which would increase the population's overall health by helping reduce secondhand smoke exposure.…
According to workers, organizations with significant wellness programs remain a minority. Demographic evidence suggests that the current laissez-faire attitudes toward workplace wellness found in many organizations will soon need to change. It's important to understand those needs to tailor a wellness program to the organization and its people. To be successful, wellness programs must be employee driven and management supported. (Walker, 2004)…

The changes that I need to do to become in a total wellness program are my eating habits and physical fitness. More homemade food is better and that means also foods that can be made from scratch and not pre-made. There are so many short cuts people can take now with spices, but they contain so much salt. My mother and grandmother were very good at making food from scratch. The taste is extremely different and it is so much healthier to be able to control what goes into one’s food. The second thing is to get a regular exercise schedule and a set time to do exercise. Those are the major changes that need to be made in my life.…
I think nobody is complety healthy because we are not perfect and it means we will have several illnesses or something inside of your body will not work fine. Also, there are people that make a lot of exercises and they harm themselve. They become it in a obsessed. Nevertheless, there are people that never make no exercise anytime and it is bad for them. On the other hand, I guess my health is good. As well, I try to eat less fat but I am not obsessed with it. Besides, I have not went to the doctor for a longer. So, I think I am fine. For me people is not healthy enough because their job or their responsibilities make them have not time to take care of them. For example, work recently have become in a jail for people. I mean, they even have…

“Imagine someone who suffers from lapses of memory, hallucinations, sudden depressions and nameless fears. These are all mental symptoms, in the straightforward sense of involving states of mind” (Scruton, 1981, p. 37). Imagine living with these “lapses of memory, hallucinations, and sudden depressions and nameless fears” every day. Now imagine being unemployed and trying to learn to cope with all these symptoms on top of trying to succeed and find a job. There are many people who have a mental illness that have the desire to obtain community employment. Many people want to work so they can have the money to fulfill their needs and their wants, to be independent and to socialize with their coworkers and/or customers. It motivates people, creates…
Opening my one-day activity, I would ask the students who like to go shopping. Then ask them how they felt when they went to the store with someone and was told them no they could have what they ask for? I will introduce to our topic for the day “Needs and Wants of a Dollar”. Then I will state that they have 1 minutes to pick up two items from the mini store, that in the class. After the couple minutes, they would sit in a large group and assorted their items in the need or want bin. While the saying if their items is a need or want and putting the items in the bin, I will tally up their answer as a need or want.…
