Two Political Speeches, One powerful Message
Two great inspirational political figures, hold audiences captive with their patriotism, leadership, and compassion speaking of our past, our present and our future. President Obama plays big brother with our youth, demanding they take responsibility for their education, embellishing that the future of our country depends on them. Sarah Palin in her Vice-Presidential speech, confronts her opponents questioning their partonism while stabbing at the heart and soul of every hard- working Blue Collared American who helped build this county. Obama and Palin both make powerful, effective speeches, empowering the audience to think about the future of the United States, and what they personally can do for this great nation, for the future is in their hands. Standing firmly before the future of our county, gazing into their little eyes, Obama relates with each and everyone who has spared time from their busy little lives to hear his words of strength and wisdom. He compares their future to the greatness like Michael Jordan and JK Rowlings, to the revolutionaries who fought for this country, and the founders of Google, Twitter and Facebook. He makes it clear that there is no excuse for
failure “you must put in the hard work it takes to succeed.” You could be a doctor, a lawyer, a writer, a Senator but he guarantees that you will need an education to do it. He calls upon every student to make the best of their talents, to challenge themselves, to make the best of their future. “And even when you're struggling, even when you're discouraged, and you feel like other people have given up on you-don't ever give up on yourself.
