after a few hours, the bottom inmate had begun to show signs of anger due to the nature of being coerced to comply with the rules and regulations set by his top bunk cell mate. The bottom inmate took off his shirt and wrapped it around his head, utilizing the tactic as a crutch to portray what he believed was bravery. He paced back in forth in the tiny cell space available, where the top bunk inmate had a clear side view of him, ergo, he had no concerns regarding the bottom bunks next actions.
This was the second sign of a potentially perilous situation because the bottom inmate had begun to show designations of being fascinated with physically interacting with the top bunk cell mate. While the bottom bunk inmate paced back and forth, he mumbles something about harming the bottom inmate while he sleeps during the night. The top inmate overhears him, jumps down to the floor and stands face to face with the bottom inmate, asserting himself by expanding his physical position. With cameras and security guards all around the inmates find a way to stall the argument till late hours in the day where security is not as efficient in averting/monitoring malefaction. Due to the top bunk inmate still being in position of the top bunk he is gratified with what has occurred during the day while the bottom inmate is growing angrier by the second and contemplating on harming the top bunk inmate when the chance arrives. Once the lights go down and the security on hand is low, the bottom bunk inmate starts making threats towards the top bunk inmate wearing his shirt wrapped around his head once
again. Though this time around the top bunk inmate makes no initiative to respond and or give attention to the irate bottom bunk inmate. I believe this is why virtually immediately after apperceiving he would not receive any attention for his temper tantrum the bottom bunk inmate throws a container filled with toilet water and urine in the face of the top bunk inmate. Before the top bunk inmate could make any moves in reciprocation the security guards had tackled the bottom bunk inmate to the ground. Security had gotten there so fast because multiple inmates in the cell block accumulated around a single cell for an elongated period of time. In conclusion, I noticed that two inmates fighting over the top bunk of a cell can be much more perilous than it may appear to both security and other inmates involved. I learned that two people experiencing a shortage of space due to one another's company can cause physical as well as mental conflicts between them, especially when the situation takes place in a state penitentiary where malefactors reside.
