The 2 Major Accomplishments By the Akkadians A guy named Sargon was a ruler of a city-state called Sumer. Sargon lead his country with pride and he created a strong army.The two main accomplishments the akkadians accomplished were, King Sargon and his army conquered mesopotamia/Sumer and sargon kept control of the empire. Sargon was a strong general. He was a great general/teacher to his army to teach them all they needed to know for fighting battles. Sargon had amazing strategies. One great strategie was having his army in tsudo form when they went to fight. He also taught his soldiers to fight in tight formation. Another reason, is soldiers who carried shields were in the front of the tsudo, and people who carried spears were in the middle
and the people in the back carried bows and arrows. That is how Sargon conquered Mesopotamia and Sumer.
Sargon’s second accomplishment was keeping control of his empire. He kept control of his empire by, using great political strategies. He used political strategies by destroying walls so it would be harder for people to fight back. He also made disloyal governor's/ men move out into a plot of land and he would replace them with his own men. Sargon got them out there by saying he would buy them a plot of land buy them a house get them slaves and a reliable food source. Sargon when he died he made sure his sons became the Kings.
In conclusion, Sargon was a great ruler to sumer and he taught his soldiers ma great formation for war. Sargon was a great general and he had accomplished great things in his life. In conclusion, Sargon was both a great general for the army and he was also a bad person to his peers/ go
