Two Sides Of The Welfare System

On the political spectrum there are two sides, the liberals, the conservatives, and right in the middle are the moderates. The moderates agree with the liberals that sometimes the government should step in, but also understands that sometimes it’s best for government to just stay out of it. Some of the biggest topics that the two sides fight over are welfare, marriage, abortion, gun control, prayer in school, military, and many more. Welfare is to help the people in need, both sides can agree on that. The thing is, does there need to be more regulations on welfare so that people can’t take advantage? The left or the liberals would say no, by putting more regulations on welfare the government not only is making it harder for the people that don’t need it, they’re making it harder for the people that do need it. Not only this, but the government in the long run won’t be saving any money, they’ll be spending money on other things like drug tests. The majority of people who qualify for welfare have jobs, these people need welfare because they don’t get benefits from their employer. Conservatives disagree with this point of view,
The conservatives or republicans would say that there should be prayer and god in school because not having these things in school the the cause of most violence. Their point of view is that god is bedrock, the lack of bible in schools is the reason students and children don’t know the difference between right and wrong. The liberals disagree, they think that god and prayer should not be in schools. In one school there can be so many different religions and the liberals don’t think that the government should be spending money on a single religion. Putting prayer in school means that all the students’ religions have to be present. The liberals have a very good point, they say no religion in school so that money doesn’t get spent on a single
