Warhol had almost been pronounced dead but shockingly survived. The criminal who shot Warhol was Valerie Solanas. According to Solanas, Warhol had lost one of her scripts. Solanas decided to invite Warhol into the factory to then shoot him. He screamed multiple times not to shoot him but of course Salonas did not listen. Warhol was shot three times and fell to the floor. He was brought to Columbus hospital and pronounced dead but doctors brought him back to life and he has survived.
On October 31, 1968 President Johnson brought the bombing to a stop five days before the presidential election. The North vietnamese raid was said to be completely stopped on November 1, 1968.
