Specific Purpose: To inform my audience the differences and similarities between a Chevy Silverado and a Ford F-150. Central Idea: The Chevy Silverado is better than the Ford F-150. INTRODUCTION Both engines are slightly different, but share the same similarities.…
Let’s begin with the Ford f150 suspension, this truck is equipped with the double wishbone suspension which allows you to have a good straight ride but that’s it. While the Silverado’s long and short arm suspension allow you to have a comfortable ride on straight streets and on corners. Also the suspension that Chevy offers is a heavy-duty style which you can put more weight on the truck and it will hold just fine while the suspension that Ford offers is less stronger and might not handle the extra weight well. Both Ford and Chevy offer a different suspension than the stock one, Ford offers the sport suspension that makes the truck have a lower stance than the stock suspension. However, Chevy offer an off-road suspension that makes the truck have a higher stance and have more ground clearance than the original suspension. Now we do the transition from suspension to the tires and rims, Ford only offers all terrain tires but they give you optional rim sizes they offer the 18 inch rim and the 20 inch rim which will make your truck look nicer. On the other hand, Chevy offers all terrain tires and all-season tires and it also offer the 17 inch rim and the 18 inch…
Driving is inherently dangerous, especially when sharing the road with semi trucks. While you can mitigate this danger by increasing your following distance behind these big rigs, passing one on a multilane road forces you to drive within a few feet of it. Likewise, only a few feet separate you from oncoming trucks on a two lane road. Because you can't entirely avoid these situations, you have to trust that the truck doesn't lose control or otherwise harm you.…
The same way that there are similarities in the aspects there are differences as well. The next aspect that I will be talking about is the design.…

The biggest difference between gasoline and electric vehicles is the engine. Instead of an internal combustion engine the electric vehicle has an electric motor. Also instead of gasoline as fuel an electric vehicle uses batteries for energy. Finally, instead of injecting fuel into the motor the electric car has a motor controller that takes power from the batteries and delivers it to the motor. With different components the vehicles function differently. The accelerator pedal in an electric vehicle is connected to a pair of potentiometers which provide the signal that tells the controller how much power it is supposed to deliver. The power delivered translates to the speed of the…

The Bill of Rights was created to protect the basic rights of citizens living in the United States from the national government. However, there were many state and local government throughout this nation’s history that restricted the basic rights of their own citizens. Then came selective incorporation which is a process that saved many innocent people from prison for acting out their basic rights. Selective incorporation is not a law but it is a doctrine that makes sure the states’ lawmaker are not taking away American citizens constitutional right. This process opens a way to stop local and state government from taking away or creating laws which disobeys the constitution of the United States of America. We understand that even if these rights are never to be taken away, the government has ways to restrict someone from exercising their right. When the national government steps in to these situations it reminds us why we need the national government, to ensure that we are protected from those who want to take away our fundamental right.…
The issues involving the Virginia plan gave too much power to the national government have been a popular topic amongst scholars for many years. The Virginia plan was a proposal by Virginia delegates for a bicameral legislative branch. The plan was drafted by James Madison while he waited for a quorum to assemble at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. Through college we gain maturity, find out who we are and learn to better ourselves. I believe college is important for all of those reason and more. In college we gain job experience, we have a better chance of obtaining a high paying job, and college gives us a broader perspective of life. To enhance my understanding I decided to go college. According to my research I want to go to Virginia Tech or University of Maryland. Virginia Tech and University of Maryland are both among the top main colleges in the area. In our culture we use Automobiles. The Amish do not. They use horse and buggies as their mode of transportation (Smith). They have currently banned the ownership and operation of the automobile for some section members, which causes them to be known as the horse and buggy culture. They are however, allowed to use tricycles and wagons and any other small toy on wheels. Today, however some sectors are permitting the use of scooters to ride from school to home (Kraybill).…
