I often accompanied many of my relatives to their dental appointments as a translator and have always been curious about the work done in a dental office that cannot be seen during appointment visits. I was very lucky to be given an opportunity in high school to shadow a dentist for one day and personally observe various dental procedures that were performed. I have learned a lot just by observing the steps and seeing what kinds of instruments were involved.
