Christopher Paolini’s love of science fiction and fantasy inspired him to start writing Eragon along with the rest of the Inheritance Cycle at the age of 15, when he graduated from high school. He became a New York Times bestselling author at the age of 19. Christopher intended to make this series a trilogy but later decided to divide the series into 4 separate books as he extended the length of the third book. The three books of this series that have released are Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr.
Presently, Christopher aims towards the completion of the last book of this series. He lives with his family in Paradise Valley, Montana. His family’s publishing company, Paolini International LLC, played the initial role in promoting Eragon with its publication. Knopf played the next big role in the promotion of Eragon and the remaining books of this series. Christopher has created the imaginary realm of Alagaesia in the minds of Eragon’s readers by sparking their imagination with nothing but words.
