INTRODUCTION UFC, MMA, Ultimate fighting. This is one of the most exciting, exhilarating, and fierce sport in the world today. So why does it need to be banned? No one is being forced to fight or held against their will. They're usually born to fight, just love to fight, and believe or not it even takes out frustrations and personal issues that no one knows about. So I'm going to tell you that UFC shouldn't because it should be spread world-wide for entertainment value, it will even lift some burdens and the training that is done pays off in the long run.
BODY
The Ultimate Fighting Championship known as UFC is the largest mixed martial arts company in the world that brings …show more content…
in some of the most top-ranked fighters in the world and produces live events worldwide. In the U.S., UFC has sevent weight divisions and enforces the Undifed Rules of Mixed Martial Arts very strictly. President Dana White, Frand and Lorenzo Fertitta control UFC's parent company, Zuffa. But there is not just everything and anything allowed in battle while in the octagon. They're certain rules that are needed to be met for the ultimate fighting package. Just as little as starting with gear. This first object is a must for all UFC and MMA fighters. A mouthpiece is the sign to start all matches. No match may be started without a mouthpiece to prevent major teeth loss or even worse. Next, all males must wear a groin protecter approved by the Commission. The women on the other hand are prohibited for wearing groin protecters but can wear chest protecters though. For the preventance of breast cancer. These are the main rules that are meant to be followed at all cost. To prevent any major injuries or absence from their carrer and training. Now let's get deeper on how far protection goes for our fighters here from bottom to top. My first object is the gear for bottoms. These are official and approved board shorts that the legendary Brock Lesner wears in all is matches. Signed and sent for all to see and recognize. But not just men has to wear shorts. ALL contestants must have either board shorts, biker shorts, or kick boxing shorts. Although men can't wear shirts or Gi's, women are allowed too if they choose. Neither for any sex is there any shoes allowed in competition. All must be cleaned shaved and no jewlery of any kind is allowed. But what are the limits they can go to you ask? Well of course you have certain situations happen called fouls. Fouls are penalties that are banned from battle. I'll name a few for you. There are no biting, headbutts, groin attacks. holding of the fence and I could go on and on and on. If any fouls are commited in the match the following could happen: a timeout, going to neutral postition (both standing), check on the victim status or whoever commited the foul will have points taken of their board. But what if you wanted to win? You can only win by submission either physical or verbal, knockout which is a pure layout of the kid and he can't get back up then the referee stops the match. Rules, rules, rules are alot of to follow but instead all mental why don't we switch to something a little more physical. My next object I'm going to show is the ring that the ultimate fighters go into for battle. The UFC stages bouts in an eight sided ring named the Octagon. It's a octagonal structure with walls of metal chain linked fences coated with black vinyl. The metal chain links are a big part of the octagon. Since there is a lot of action all around, going to the fence is the ultimate alternative if your getting beat or if you want to beat your opponent. It's not as easy as it looks, I can't judge on what goes on but I know that whose ever is in that cage, they are laying their body of the line. This cage is made for no outside interferece nor distractions of any physical kind. It's made for pure beatings to mankind. This is bully's fantasy and a bloody nightmare. No matter if you are the worst in the ring or the best in the world you can not let your guard down for anyone going into the octagon. One of questions I recieved this morning was "Why are there so many deaths in the UFC?" Well my answer for that was completely simple.
You are putting your life down for the UFC. This isn't anything like professional wrestling where you act everything with different moves, UFC is all real. Sure, both companies train and train thousands of hours but the UFC puts a bang on the toughness to anyone. It pushes ones to their limit that no one could ever imagine or even themselves. So be careful what you wish for if it's professional wrestling or UFC, with UFC you have a greater chance of actually getting hurt but it toughens you up that much more for your next oppenent. On the other hand, it could be they're way to express how they feel. Certain people can't express their feeliings as much as others so they let all their frustrations out on their opponent. Sure, it could be that, but another reason could be ... well they just love to fight. No matter who or what sex it is. It might be their passion. Growing up, people could've been bullies, which triggered a love for hurting someone or causing major destruction. Maybe it could be the other way around. Someone could be being bullied instead of being a bully. Being beat on so many times could've triggered something in their head too. Going through life being humiliated and disrespected can tell a person that they are not going to pass on through life being bullied by everyone and anyone. Their feelings take over and they let all their rage out on the opponent their going against. It makes them feel good about themselves knowing they have found a way to beat on someone LEGALLY without getting sued, arrested, or even worse. If it's not either one of those, then just think about all the training they have put into their
work. UFC has also been inspired to tv shows. This upcoming January MTV productions are producing a tv show called "Caged". Caged is about different guys in Tennessee that love ultimate fighting. "Caged" takes viewers into the world of young people growing up in small town Louisiana, following a group of friends who are finding their way in the world after high school graduation as they struggle to make something of their lives and break out of the metaphorical cage they've found themselves in. This weekly documentary series will take an honest look into the world of young amateur MMA fighters, both inside and outside of the cage. One is dealing with his lost love, another tries to balance his young family and fighting, and another just yearns to make his family proud. It's impossible for them to leave these issues outside of the ring, and each week, viewers will see how their personal lives and choices affect their chances inside the cage.
CONCLUSION
As you see, everyone can give ultimate fighting a chance, even if your not a fan because the entertainment can be spread world-wide, you can never be forced to fight and this might be the only thing people can do to take stuff of their chest ... LEGALLY at least!!! Cages, blood, fist pounding, excitement, roars, and chants all around the ring. Sure people can get gurt, but it's because they want to show how UFC is one of the most popular upcoming tports in the world today. It's a drean to all here and there , and progress is still to come. So I'm Jessie Gregory, and we'll see you next time in the octagon.
