A successful basketball team consists of players who make strong and accurate passes – overhead passes, chest passes, or bounce passes – to one another, ensuring the team’s control and possession of the ball. Similarly, in ultimate, players must practice their frisbee throws – backhand, or forehand flicks – so that they eventually are able to pass the disc to exactly where the player wants it to go, even over a long distance. "Did you see the ending of that Duke game!" The president, Bill Clinton, was astonished by the miraculous ending of the Kentucky vs. Duke game. Just about anybody you could talk to would know about the game and also be astonished by it. This can show the effect a game can produce on a person and a school. During college sports games, a school and fans can be affected in a jubilant or a depressing way. For example, a school could begin to build a program with many wins to come, or they could go straight down. Also, a fan could be feeling so happy as if he is "on cloud nine," or he could feel like he has been killed as he takes pride in his team. Although this impact can be a bad circumstance, several delightful impacts can turn into traits. Three of these traits are persistence, self-esteem, and leadership. All three of these traits take place in each of three games that are arguably the greatest college sports games of all time. College sports games clearly can affect a human being and change his feeling whether it is bad or good.…

Another counter argument is that paying these student-athletes would take away the title “college athlete” and makes them into a “professional athlete”. Although this does pose a great argument, the fact of the matter is that these student-athletes are not getting what they deserve as they devote the same amount of time a full-time worker applies to their job. In order to call them a “professional” is if they were making a full salary, these students do not need a full salary, they just need a little extra to help them get buy and to insure safety if they lose their scholarship. My heart ached more than my broken leg as I stared at the trophy across from the gym, mocking me, telling me I wasn't good enough. The doctor said he wasn't sure if I would be able to play in the state championship, but I sure earned it, the team needed me. I got up using my crutches as a guide, and walked across the room, to the face of the trophy that made me the most nervous, then looked at the basketball hoop south of it. My baby sat their all sad and lonely, like he hasn't seen me in years, it's all Jake Owens fault. The other hoop brought back memories that made me even more miserable, the time Jake Owens broke my leg weeks ago right on the bleachers in front of me. He pushed me down the steep flights of stairs, crushing my leg in 3 places, but more importantly making me miss out on the most important thing in my life, basketball. I was determined to tell Coach and my doctor I would be ready, I needed this, it was my only chance to win high school state ball before college. I gave my foot a little pressure before ditching the crutches and free walking. I grabbed a ball from the rack in the corner of the gym, and slightly arched my foot to shoot the ball, it hurt, but like always swished right threw the net. I then forced myself to retrieve the ball, and shoot again, and again. Finally…
