Ultraviolet B Rays: Are Humans Ruining Our Environment?
The humans are definitely hurting our environment. I have many sources and claims that prove it. Ultraviolet B Rays can cause skin cancer and cause cataracts in humans and can harm animals. Also inhibits phytoplankton, from the bottom of the bottom of the food chain which can affect other organisms and animals that are key to the environment. Chlorofluorocarbons are in aerosol cans and they primarily culprits in the ozone layer. When see if CFCs reach the upper atmosphere they can exposed to ultraviolet rays. They break down into substances including chlorine. Chlorine reacts with oxygen atoms and rips apart the ozone layer. One atom of chlorine can destroy more than 100,000 ozone molecules. The ozone layer above Antarctica is being impacted

When the death of Francis Ferdinand marked the beginning of WW1 as a "war to end all wars” It also began, the first War that where the newest and most lethal machines were experimented upon the newly armed troops. Only through these lethal and logical experiments did strategists understand the fatal that weapons were capable of. When the weapons were unleashed, tens of thousands could be killed each hour or even second. From there countries adapted, copied, and completely shattered the old ideals of warfare. The war of the past has become the war of the future through intoxicating and gunning down millions. The weapons and strategies became useless, with these new inventions, such as chemical gas and the automatic weapon. As technology spread one man could bring down an army with these lethal weapons. This new technology forced generals to refute the strategies of old, and embrace a new, modern, tactic.…

We put human wants before thinking how it will badly affect the environment. We cut down forests to build houses to live in, buildings to work in, malls to shop in and many other things. By cutting down those forests, we are cutting down the homes of other species because we need the space to build something we, humans, want. We build factories that let out smog in the air to create product we, humans, want or to earn money off of. We seem to think that human life is entirely separate from nature because we don’t see the effects of what we do that harms…

The most significant effect that people have on the environment is the power to choose to pollute it. Ever wonder about all the ways we pollute the world everyday? Probability not, nowadays people are more careless about the environment. Sadly, because of our actions the world is being destroyed. Since people are becoming lazy and not throwing their trash away, the environment is swimming in litter. Also, because of our trash millions of innocent animals are dying each year from consuming or getting stuck in garbage. Plus all of the pollute we make is causing global warming. We humans have a major impact on the world, and every little thing we do affects it. So…

No other species has altered the the face of the earth like us. About eight percent of land has seen or undergone human activity. Since the 1750s, when the Industrial Revolution went strong, we have released large amounts of greenhouse gases into our atmosphere. This has trapped the sun's rays and is slowly causing the ice caps to melt and sea levels to rise. The most devastating part about all of this is that we are drastically changing the environment in a very short amount of time.…

<br>In just the last fifty years, humans, namely Americans have virtually remodeled the Earth and everything on it. We have changed its landscapes, wind patterns, migration routes, and weather; diminished its greenery and killed its animals. Nature did not seem a force that could be controlled and yet it has been. We are conducting an inadvertent global experiment by changing the face of the entire planet. We are destroying the ozone layer, which allows life to exist on the Earth's surface, clearing the majority of the earth's forests, and disrupting countless ecosystems. The result has been an unfavorable alteration of the composition of the biosphere and the Earth's heat balance. If we do not slow down our use of fossil fuels and stop destroying the forests, the world will become hotter than it has been in the past million years. This warming will rearrange entire biological communities and cause many species to become extinct.…

First, we have global warming, which is a problem that must be solved as soon as possible. Some ignorant people think that it won’t happen but we are actually living this situation right now, every single day. According to some NASA studies, since 1950, the average temperature has climbed 1.4Fahrenheit degrees around the world. As a consequence of this fact, an Arctic ice area, which was bigger than the United States, has melted this year! Another evidence of global warning is that the frequency and number of hurricanes and earthquakes around the world has increased the last years. The irony of all this is that even though we do realize what is happening; even though we know that we are destroying our planet, we are still polluting, wasting and damaging.…

Humans fill the air with pollution that turns the rain acidic and threatens to alter the climate pollution from and fossil and nuclear fuels, from industry and agriculture is slowing poisoning not only in the air but also the land and water that we share with other living beings.…
