Another reason that the legal drinking age should not be lowered is because of alcohol related deaths. Many alcohol related accidents happen each day due to careless individuals making poor choices. Think, even though you are driving sober, someone else might not be. Horrible things happen from the use of alcohol with the legal drinking age at twenty one so just imagine what would happen if the legal drinking age was lowered any. Alcohol use causes many injuries, deaths, and major health issues as well. In conclusion, young people make poor decisions on their own and certainly do not need alcohol to make even worse decisions.
