The features of effective partnership working are to ensure there is good communication between all parties that ensure a high standard of care is delivered to the individual involved at all times. It ensures each party is covering all area’s and that all needs are met and that all partys have a good knowledge of who is delivering what to the individual and the contacts they have if other issues may arise and the access they have to these.

Partnership working with colleaugues is extremely important and is a must in all roles, this ensures that the service is delivered as a team and that all members of the team contribute their strengths to deliver a high standard of care to the individuals. It ensures that all members of the team feel competent and confident within their roles and support each other as well as being able to work individually.
1.3
Partnership working delivers better outcomes as all partys involved are working towards the same goals and have a good and mutual knowledge of the person they are delivering the service to they are aware of each others input and all have a similar or exact goal. Partnership working ensures good communication is upheld throughout the process and that a high standard of care is delivered to the individual with all areas covered.

To overcome barriers with partnership working you must ensure that each individual and their role is respected and the knowledge that they possess that you may not have is furthering your own knowledge and you are learning new skills and attributes. Overcoming these barriers will further your learning and knowledge and add to your confidence and competence in similar situations that may arise in the future. Accepting others for who they are and having respect for each other ensures a good working partnership.
