This is satirizing how people become frantic and extremely distraught when it comes to an accident. They tend to make sudden decisions and blame anyone around them without looking at the overall picture. Although it makes sense to create a scene, it is important to remain calm and know all the facts. This is why the video uses an understatement, in order to correlate murdering people to making an absurd decision without thinking it through. If someone were to actually remain in a state of ataraxia, they would not take such drastic measures to get revenge on someone who may have mislead them on the road. When Preston said that he took hours long videos of his perpetrator's parent’s house, it showed that he was agitated and angry, rather than tranquil and levelheaded. Instead of suing the people who caused him to have an accident, he decided to murder their next door neighbor. A simple act of being cut off on the road whilst driving caused Preston to follow the miscreants home, which took hours away from his life.
These examples of satire contributed to society by showing that if one were to say something, they cannot contradict themselves and do the exact opposite. There is no reason to go into extreme lengths just to get revenge on someone, but rather, it is quite necessary to always be calm and collected in every situation one is to
