On the contrary, uniform has also negative aspects. According to students’ opinions, university uniform negative aspects may be religion issues, less freedom, and hiding students’ real characters. Religion issues sometimes make obstacles for university uniform to be applied. For this reason some students might not agree with this idea. Especially, in Islamic countries, a number of students may not agree to wear uniform because Islam does not allow wearing some types of clothes. For instance, girls should wear hijab in Islam, and it is not permissible for girls to wear skinny clothes. Likewise, boys as well as girls have been prevented of wearing long jeans or pants, and boys have not been permitted to wear skinny clothes, too. Furthermore, less freedom is one of the issues, too. Students might think of wearing university uniform as ordering and obligating them. In addition, some people think that we need to avoid obliging students of what they want to wear. Moreover, some psychologists believe that minimizing the freedom of the university students might affect them in a bad way. For instance, some students think about wearing uniform as a routine, and most of the nowadays’ students want to modernise their lifestyle. Thus, they want to be away from routine. In addition to the previous negative aspects of uniform, some students think that having university uniform hides their personal characters. Besides, at every university, there should be a number of students who want to show off themselves by wearing different kinds of clothes. Accordingly, some students believe that most of the people’s characters can be revealed their types of clothes and the way of wearing them. In conclusion, university uniform has a special importance at the universities around the world. Universities in Kurdistan Region have been thinking about implementing uniform at their colleges. Some people think of wearing uniform at the universities of Kurdistan Region is a need. Conversely, some others do not agree with it.
