Assignment Requirements
1. Read and review Chapter 1. Highlight important concepts, take notes, and write down any questions you may have.
2. Locate an example of a visual argument to share with the class.
3. Analyze your example by performing the Steps for Reading Visual Argument in the box at the bottom of p. 9 of your text. Write down your answers.
4. Bring your visual argument to class. Be prepared to present your example to the class and to present your analysis during in-class discussion.
5. Answer the Chapter Review Questions 1-8 at the bottom of p. 29. Provide your answers to these review questions in complete sentences.
