Introduction
I plan to use Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended to produce a portfolio of images. I have decided to use Adobe Photoshop as it is far superior to Paint due to these 2 items of software are the only ones available to me. Adobe Photoshop will hopefully allow me to produce a good standard of quality pieces of work. Within this portfolio I will try to include a number of images that show how I can manipulate images using a range of tools.
Here I have easily created a simple line using the line tool which I plan to manipulate.
I have manipulated this simple line. I used the anchor tool to hold or allow me to move points to where I wish. This allowed me to bend the outer edge of the line generating something a little different.
To manipulate the colour I used the selective colour pre-sets in the adjustments bar.

WINDOW
DOOR
I used the line tool to create a rough floor plan of my living room. However to create the various objects I used the rectangle tool to do this. To identify these objects I used the text tool to label them including where the windows and doors are. To identify these I used the line tool but in a different colour and on a separate layer so there locations are visible.

Line Drawing – Car
This is an image of a Saleen S7. I plan to create a line drawing of this image.
I erased the background with the eraser tool and applied the filter photocopy and moved the settings around to give a detailed line drawing however the colours where the wrong way round so I selected the remains of the image and clicked Image> adjustments> invert which swapped the colours around to leave me with this.
I used the eraser to remove any slightly shaded areas and around the darker line to create a cleaner line drawing.
