Culminating Performance Task Unit 2
Students will develop a short research paper (750 words) in response to the following assignment: Using texts from this unit as well as additional resources, explain how satirist attacked their political system during the 17th and 18th century. Cite specific textual evidence to support an original, concise thesis statement. They will use appropriate and varied transitions and syntax to link the major sections of the text, create cohesion, and clarify the relationships among complex ideas and concepts.
Students will use MLA format and will include 5 sources (Works Cited) to support their findings. All work will be will be submitted via Emodo.com
