Unit 411 - PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
Working as a support worker for young adults, among other responsibilities, solely requires maintenance of a safe environment for the young adults to be cared for, while promoting wellbeing. Maintaining a safe environment involves a series of inter-twined activities which include monitoring and reporting the activities of the individuals in care on a day-to-day base. Considering that the activities are carried out by multiple individuals in different placements within the United Kingdom, with different attitudes and operation patterns, the need for regulation to foster uniformity and consistency within all organisations has not been ignored.
