Part 1: Know about different eating disorders

1a. Describe at least two different eating disorders.

Eating disorder 1:
Bulimia Nervosa is a disorder characterised by consuming massive amount in calories in a form on binge eating and then getting rid of them through laxatives or vomiting. There may be social signs or psychological signs like social isolation.

Eating disorder 2:
Anorexia Nervosa is the most well-known and popular of eating disorders yet it is the least common. It is more noticeable due to the physical effects it has on people. Anorexia usually is either a person. Anorexia typically presents with two main types of behaviour, either as restricting food intake, or as bingeing with purging.

1b. Describe the signs and symptoms of the eating disorders you described in Question 1a above.

Eating disorder 1:
Bulimia can show many sign and symptoms this can be visible weight loss, swollen glands and constant sore throat due to forces vomiting. Social isolation and depression and other signs to look out for while medical issues that can arise range from tooth decay, broken blood vessels in the eye, abdominal pain, fits and seizures, ruptured stomach.

Eating disorder 2:
Some of the signs and symptoms of Anorexia are a distorted body image due to having a false image of the self which starts to dominate their life.
