Objective:

The objectives of this subject are:

To introduce the role and nature of entrepreneurship as a mechanism for creating new ventures and affecting economic development;
To discuss the entrepreneurial process;
To identify characteristics and background of entrepreneurs;
To provide an understanding of creativity and obtaining the right business area as well as the legal issues;
To prepare the business plan: marketing, financial and organizational plans;
To discuss alternative sources of capital;
To present material related to establishing, developing and ending the venture as well as going public.
