This university is a public institution that was founded in 1821, joined the university of California system in 1944. The campus size of UCSB is 1055 acres, srhs is 300 acres and more. UCSB is located in 1210 Cheadle hall university of California, Santa Barbra, CA 93106-2014. The chancellor of UCSB is henry t. yang.
The tuition and expenses for freshmen is up to $33,741 if you live is California, and out of state it will be $56,614, this covers: tuition, campus based fees, books and supplies, health care allowance, loan fees rent, food/board, utilities, telephone, transportation, personal expenses, I believe the price is fair a California residence, but if you’re coming here out of state the tuition is way too high, Other universities/collages in California rounds up to the same amount of money to attend the school.
I will want to go this university because of the beautiful richness society it has. UCSB campus is on oceanfront property. There is always something to do in UCSB there are over 400 clubs and organizations on campus. UCSB is known for their successful women’s basketball and men’s soccer teams. Non-varsity students can join a club team such as cycling, surfing, rugby or ski and snowboard.

I want to attend this university to major in psychology to become a criminal profiler or other jobs that require a psychology degree. Five most popular majors for 2012 graduates where social science 20%, biology and Biomedical Sciences %14, Psychology 11%, Physical Sciences 7%, Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs 6%.

Has a total undergraduate enrollment of 18,977, with a gender distribution of 47.2 percent male students and 52.8 percent female students. At this school, 37 percent of the students live in college-owned, -operated, or -affiliated housing and 63 percent of students live off campus.
