-81.5021338. The Eastern Campus encompasses four (4) buildings identified as the Health Careers and Technology (HCT), Student Services (ESS), Liberal Arts (ELA), and the Education Center (ECC). The campus encompasses a Fitness Center and Natatorium, which features a large size lane swimming pool, diving area, vortex pool, and a premiere fitness center with a weight room.
Event Preparation:
In preparation for the event, Plant Operations will close off lots H1 and H2 for the removal of the light poles, marking the paint, and the installation of the tents. On Monday, June 22, 2015, load-ins will begin and the perimeter of the fence will be in place by the end of day (EOD). Campus Police will initiate around the clock surveillance beginning at 1700hrs until the conclusion and breakdown of the event on Monday, June 29, 2015. Campus Police and Security Services will monitor all equipment within the perimeter to prevent thefts and unwanted guest on the property.
Parking Scheme:
Parking lots H1 and H2 will be utilized for the main event and tent set up. Parking lots B1 (152), B2 (136), and B3 (200) will be specifically reserved for valet parking only while the Faculty/Staff parking lot will be reserved for volunteers. The remaining parking lots (R1, R2, R3, and D) will be available for self-parking.
Traffic Control:
Event Coordinator, Ms. Anne Kallevig met with Chief A. Stitt of Highland Hills Police Department and has made arraignments for officers to be on scene to assist. Highland Hills PD will assist with off campus traffic; three (3 and 1 car) officers will be placed at the Harvard entrance and two (2 and 1 car) will be placed at the Richmond Road entrance. There will not be a Police Officer at the Harvard and Richmond intersection to assist with traffic control.
Leo Mahoney will provide signage detailing parking directions for the UH attendees and volunteers. Barricades will be put in place to control the movement of the guest throughout respective locations on the campus and to prevent the use of unauthorized roads.
Mobile Equipment Needed:
Three (3) marked CPSS Units
Sergeant Johnson has agreed to provide the Eastern Division a marked unit along with Leo Mahoney who will provide two (2) golf carts to serve as vehicles for the event.
Stationary Post:
Floaters: Two (2) officers will be assigned to float the perimeter/exterior of the event by foot patrol. They will maintain general order and monitor the crowd for suspicious and/or unusual activity. Additionally, assigned officers will handle disruptions and take the appropriate police action.
Richmond Road entrance (top of the hill): One (1) officer will be assigned to this post to direct vehicle movement to the self-parking lots.
Robert Bishop Entrance/Harvard: One (1) officer will be assigned to this post to direct deliveries (deliveries expected to arrive up until 1600).
Harvard Road/Track entrance: One (1) officer assigned to the entrance to direct deliveries (deliveries expected to arrive up until 1600).
Shuttle Drop-off: One (1) officer will be assigned to the entrance and will direct the guest to the event.
Medical Emergency:
The Village of Highland Hills will assign a Medical Emergency Squad and paramedics to the site for the duration of the event. In the event of a medical emergency, the Ahuja Medical Center has been identified as the treating facility. Ahuja Medical Center is located at approximately 0.9 miles from the venue with a drive time of 4 minutes. UH Ahuja Medical Center is situated on a 53 acres near the intersection of I-271 and Harvard Road and offers convenient access from Cleveland’s eastern and southern communities.
Hillcrest Hospital has been identified as the hospital of choice for all serious incidents related to trauma. For all other medical emergencies, the nearest available hospital will be utilized with Ahuja Medical Center regarded as the primary choice. Emergency Preparedness:
In the event of a severe weather storm, or if the National Weather Service issues a tornado watch or warning, the Eastern Education Center has been identified as the nearest and safest location to direct the guest. Campus Police will activate the College’s Incident Plan and will direct guest to the nearest rest rooms and internal classrooms. The following room numbers have been identified as safe shelters:

Communication Command Center:
The Eastern Campus Police Office, room 1601 will be the official staging area. The office will be monitored, but communications associated with this event will pass through the Central Dispatch Center. The direct line to the communication center has been identified as 216.987.4325 and all communications will be broadcasted on the Eastern Campus Police Frequency identified as Channel One, Zone One PD. Main.
Anne Kallevig will have additional portable radios available for officers assigned to the delivery entrances. Officers will need these radios to communicate directly with Anne to confirm and direct deliveries.
