INTRODUCTION

There are many different people in the world today with a varied view of religion. There are perhaps thousands of religious belief sets throughout the world. In the workplace we are confronted with individuals from all walks of life, cultures and religions. There is a woman that I work with by the name of Kiran. She is of Indian descent and I have had the good fortune to become close to her and share the gospel of my God. She is always kind and listens to me preach to her without judgment or condemnation.
We have developed a relationship to the point where I call her my ‘momma’. She has been like family to me going so far as to care for my wife during one of the most difficult times in our married life, the loss of twins prematurely. In the holding area before surgery, Kiran approached us after we had just finished our prayer for the safe keeping of my wife and the hands of the surgeon and staff that would accompany her in the room. She leaned in to my wife and told her, “Do not worry God is here with you.” This singular statement has opened a whole new door to the relationship that I have with Kiran. She knew that I was in Seminary training to fulfill the call that God has placed on my life. Until recently, I had never inquired about her religion other than asking questions as to what her
