I’ve also been apart of the Upward Bound program at Jacksonville University, where I am an Ambassador and crowned Miss Upward Bound. I am an intelligent, determined young lady who is always willing to lead others to prosperity. From there I have countless Academic Certificates from school, UNF, and Upward Bound. Furthermore, I’ve worked hard since my first day of highschool to earn good grades in order to get accepted to college. When I notice my friends falling behind, I always lend a helping hand to make sure they’re on the right track, so they know they’re not going through it alone. I believe that in life, it is important to stay positive, even when things go south, God always have a plan to end your suffering. All God wants is for his children to be happy and content. The most significant event in my life is the imprisonment of my father. That event has changed my whole outlook on life from watching my mother balance two jobs while my grandmother took care of my siblings and I. Looking back in those days, it seemed as though I was raising my younger sister, teaching her right from wrong and helping her through
